About Us
First Nations Software
Supporting Indigenous Communities since 1983.
First Nations Software operates from Beaver First Nation in Treaty 8 and offers customers Tribal Administration System.
The Tribal Administration System was first developed in 1983 with the objective of creating the best First Nations software on the market.
For over 40 years, the system has expanded to handle and manage the administration of every department of a First Nations organization.
Software upgrades, including new modules and functions, were created based on customer conversations. When a community had a new need, we got to work on creating a module or software function to meet that need.
Our lead developer, Randy Hancock, has spent a lifetime serving First Nations communities, travelling throughout Alberta, BC, and the Yukon Territory. This experience has allowed us to fine-tune the Tribal Administration System to best meet the changing needs of First Nations governments and organizations.
First Nations Software is committed to offering genuine customer service and technical support and providing a system that meets and supports your community’s needs. We operate a 24-hour customer support line, ensuring you get the assistance you need 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
First Nations Software is dedicated to providing culturally safe and high-quality services to our customers.
Social Enterprise with Gloria's Dream Tree
First Nations Software operates as a social enterprise, advocating and contributing to First Nations communities and the Indigenous business sector and economy.
As a social enterprise, a percentage of our gross revenue is donated to Gloria Dreams Tree’s Amplify Reciprocity program, which supports Indigenous enterprises and projects.
Giving back to your First Nations community
First Nations Software is a social enterprise aimed at taking action towards Indigenous economic reconcilation. As such, a portion of all our proceeds will be given to the Amplify Repricocity Program.
Here’s how we support Indigenous community and enterprise.
Social Enterprise
First Nations Software gives back. When you sign up for an annual subscription to the Tribal Administration System, a percentage goes into the Amplify Reciprocity program, which funds Indigenous-led enterprises and projects.
Amplify Reprocity funds language and culture programs, businesses and projects that contribute to Indigenous community, economy and reconciliation.
Employment
First Nations Software wants to contribute to the Indigenous economy, and a big part of that is providing training and employment opportunities.
We want interested members to receive training and support to be the technical liaison for their community. We will also have in-house employment opportunities in the future. We look forward to growing our team!
Community Building
We are more than just a software company. We want to help build community for all First Nations in your Treaty Territory and beyond.
We know that giving back to the community, lifting up Indigenous individuals and businesses, and making connections between people and places are essential in community building. Join us!
Reconciliation
Join our social enterprise, bring awareness for reconciliation and help us amplify Indigenous voices!
We welcome ideas, contributions, partnerships, investments and collaborations with Indigenous leaders, members, and businesses and from our non-Indigenous allies. We look forward to working with you.
